This is the DSL information page. We provide DSL service to both Business and Residential users. Our DSL is configured in the following ways.
The following features are common to all of our DSL products.
We never slow down or interfere with your downloads or uploads. You are paying for your service and we want you to enjoy the fastest service possible.
We provide the customer service for any DSL problems from the exterior wiring back to the DSL central office or remote terminal. If you have a problem you just have to make one call, to us.
All of our DSL products come with the "Webmail" application. You may use the "Webmail" from any computer in the world that is on line.
We use Static IP's for all of our accounts. This provides the fastest and most reliable DSL service. If you are upgrading from another provider, you will be pleasantly surprised at the difference in speed.
Our routers are sent to you without cost. They belong to IDV and should be returned to us if you change service providers. Accordingly, since they are our property, if they fail or need repair, that is done at our expense not yours.
All DSL installs take between 3 days and 2 weeks.
All DSL services are restricted in speed by their length from the central office or remote terminal. The further down the line you are, the slower your service will be. We qualify your phone number at the time of inquiry, (the first thing we do), and tell you what the projected line speed is so you can make a decision as to what service level you want to install.
1. Residential. Price 29.95 Month. Line turn on charge 60.00. Speed 768/128. Includes a router with a Static IP address. This configuration results in a faster service than you will find with most of the other DSL providers. Using a Static IP address also has the additional benefit of not having to run additional software on your computer to use DSL. IDV also does not interfere or slow down your downloads and files as many of the other DSL providers do.
2. Residential. Price 49.95 Month. Line turn on charge waived. Speed 3.0mb/768kb. Includes a router with a Static IP address. This is a very fast service capable of running multiple computers and voice over IP. This is one "fast" line. If you want to surf quickly, play games and send and receive pictures and large files, this is the service for you. Very low latency time. When those other broadband services are running at a crawl on Saturday and Sunday, this service will be flying.
3. Business Price 39.95 Month. Line turn on charge 60.00. Speed 768/128. Includes a router with a Static IP address. This configuration results in a faster service than you will find with most of the other DSL providers. Using a Static IP address also has the additional benefit of not having to run additional software on your computer to use DSL. IDV also does not interfere or slow down your downloads and files as many of the other DSL providers do. In addition, your router can be configured for VPN and other business configurations. This level will also work with multiple computers if email is your major form of usage. How you use the internet has an impact on whether this service would be right for you.
4. Business Price 59.95 Month. Line turn on charge waived. Speed 3.0mb/768kb. Includes a router with a Static IP address. This is a very fast service capable of running a number of computers and voice over IP. The router is configurable to accommodate VPN and other routing needs. Service includes a host of email accounts including an online control panel to manage the entire account for everything from passwords, spam, white lists, black lists, aliases and much more.
